The Night Sky
Join us for a tour of the stars beginning with Astronomy 101 with Pat Bernathy at Sublette BOCES, Room 120.
After class, we will drive up to White Pine Resort's parking lot for a first hand look through various telescopes with the guidance of Jackson Hole Astronomy Club. We anticipate being able to view the moon and Saturn that night. If the weather and cloud cover is not cooperative, we will meet the following night, Saturday, September 19 at White Pine Resort.

Pat and his wife Jan have recently returned to Pinedale after retiring as Environmental Engineer from the Oil and Gas industry. Previously Pat taught Physics, Chemistry, Geology and Astronomy at Pinedale High School from 2000 to 2008. He is a graduate of Montana State Bozeman where he also worked for the MSU Physics Department teaching evening Astronomy classes.
He and his wife Jan are avid outdoors people who enjoy all Sublette County has to offer, hunting, fishing, skiing and snowmobiling.
